IBYE 2nd Place Winner 2017 for Best Established Business

MARK FEELY, Managing Director of CARPENTRYWORKS.IE placed 2nd in OFFALY BEST YOUNG ENTREPENEUR in BEST ESTABLISHED BUSINESS CATEGORY

Offaly's Local Enterprise Board awarded CarpentryWorks.ie's MARK FEELY, Managing Director and power behind the business, the Runner Up position in his category, Best Established Business.

Mark received the Runner Up trophy and investment of €5,000 to help with grow the business.

 

About the Contest..

The County Final of Ireland’s Best Young Entrepreneur (IBYE) competition was for 18-35 year olds.

As part of the contest, Mark enrolled in IBYE Bootcamp, received 2 mentoring sessions, and gave a final presentation of his business, followed by in depth questions and answers session from the Judges afterwards.  

Judges of the participants were Liam Holton of Future Ticketing, James Maloney of Enterprise Ireland and Orla Martin of Local Enterprise Office Offaly.

Mark wishes the best of luck to Eoin Bara, who won the title in the category of Best Established Business, in the next stage of the contest. Eoin goes forward now to represent Offaly at the national competitions, Eoin's company, Arderin Distillery, is most famous for his Mór Gin product.
